  • Key Result Areas

    CL Educate’s internship program is a 8 week summer program between August and October held at our New Delhi offices and territories assigned to those specific locations. A Business Development (BD) internship program at CL Educate Ltd (CL) is an opportunity to solve business problem(s) at scale and contribute real value to fast paced and dynamic BD team at CL.

    Each intern will have a well-defined task for their allocated territory which will challenge them to both think strategically and engage with cross functional partners to deliver targeted outcomes. This structure mirrors the work process of full time employees working in the BD team.

    All the interns will have the full support, guidance and feedback from their respective managers and senior leadership team at CL. As a class, CL interns are availed of best in class exposure to leadership team at CL and given opportunities to build relationships with fellow interns across all the functions.

    Education Management is one of the fastest growing industries and main source of growth for CL Educate Ltd, it is imperative for our organization to drive an aggressive growth agenda in 2018 and create impact in terms helping the youth of the country to achieve success.

    A BD intern at CL will provide support to the BU/Center Head of their allocated location in –

    - Building channel for sales inside key accounts (campus/colleges/work ex locations/schools)

    - Ensuring channel utilization ( in-campus activities like counselling , sales drives and sales closure)

    The position would require significant interpersonal skill to interface with the prospective customers to convey the differentiating factors with respect to our competition in order to achieve the defined growth.

Required Candidate Profile

    Post Graduate Level, Under Graduate/Post School

    • Actively pursuing graduation or pass out [Not later than August 2017] • Aggregate of a 60% in graduation [till date]

  • Skill Requirement

    English

    • Strong analytical skills – as evidenced by high intelligence and previous ownership of comprehensive analytical tasks and projects • Strong Interpersonal Skills – as evidenced by the ability to work with multiple student bodies, activity clubs / societies inside their own campus. Previously held team lead/ student chair position in a club/society is a big plus. • Planning skills - as evidenced by the capability to develop tools such as annual plans and forecasts that incorporate Sales and Marketing input • Strong problem-solving capabilities – as evidenced by a track record of finding feasible solutions to complex problems, especially in an environment with incomplete information and tight timelines • Excellent communication skills – as evidenced by the ability to influence and convince your peer group/college mates/batch mates through written and verbal communications. Active and successful participation in debates / extempore or a significant achievement at Toastmasters is a big plus. • Resilience – as evidenced by the courage maintain a positive attitude when faced with obstacles and the willingness to develop alternative approaches to overcome them. • Bias for action – as evidenced by a track record of taking decisions in to drive the interests of the business while still maintaining highest levels of rigor and compliance.
